"He is lucky, got the opportunity. I don't have the opportunity. If not, I will do better than him.". It's not hard to hear someone complaining about opportunity. Are you prepared for the opportunity when they come? Will you able to grab it? Most of us will think that we are better than others because we keep comparing our strong points to the weak points of others but didn't try to compare the strong points of others. We are trying to cheat ourselves by creating an illusion that we are better than others. In fact, we have a lot to learn from them.

When things not going the way it should be. You might complain about why the apple falls on Newton but not you? Why the giant clam with huge pearls cannot be found in the drain beside your house? Why you didn't meet someone who gives you a hand and lead you to success? When this opportunity comes, you ate the apple when it falls on you. You kick the rock that contains crystals inside because you tripped over by the rock. You scold and drive people away when someone gives you advice on how to succeed. Are you able to identify the opportunity?

Let say that you are able to identify the opportunity, when the apple falls down on you, you know it's an opportunity but you just can't figure out what is the value in it. You tripped over by the rock and you know it contain crystals but you didn't bring the tools to cut it open or bring it back. When someone telling you about creating video content can earn money, you have no idea how to do it and don't want to sacrifice your time to learn about it. In the end, you complain you don't have the opportunity. Actually, the opportunities are there for you, it's whether you are able to identify it and prepared to grab it.

Opportunity is there for us, we just need to have the ability to identify it and be ready to grab it. Gaining more knowledge allows us to identify the opportunity more accurately, learning more skill get us prepared when we have the opportunity. If you still think that you don't have the opportunity, try self-improvement, the best investment is to invest in ourselves.
